Cement Render: The usual old fashioned render mix is one part cement, one part lime and six parts sand. Current cement render mix consists of 4 parts of sand, 1 part of cement and 10% of clay such as Fireclay, Builders Clay or Renderer’s Clay, a very low cost mixture suitable for cement rendering good condition Brick and Concrete Block walls.
